Oh really? Now, never once did I ever claim to be an expert in the field of Tao, as I'm simply a curious person who is merely interested in the philosophical lore of Tao. Whether my analytical understanding is accurate or flawed, I'm not here to brag and boast my personal wisdom, to provide some sort of self satisfaction.
Philosophy is like a language. When one doesn't have any knowledge of one particular language, he only hears gibberish and reads unintelligible symbols. However, once one has learned sufficient knowledge about the very same language, words and sounds begin to open up, and the accompanying meaning, significance, and depth are subsequently revealed.
So please don't label this classical work as some "mythical story" that holds no meaning, because you can't extract the essence out of it. |
