The more important thing to do here is to first figure out why the world is coming to an end in the first place.
Could it be global warming? Personally, if it wasn't for the extensive research that I did, I would have believed in this grand scam, perhaps one of the biggest scams of the current era of civilisation, just like all the other mindless drones have done. Nah, just kidding. Anyway, if you please, allow me to dispel this spell of illusion for all of you, and reveal the truth that is, global warming is nothing but a fraud.
I would like to take this time and go over one of the most ridiculous things about global warming- The vilification of cattle herding. The blame has mostly been placed on the one infamous element of the universe, supposedly responsible for global warming itself, namely carbon dioxide or CO2. However, the truth of the matter is, carbon dioxide levels above 300 ppm simply do not cause global warming, period.
As some of you may know or may not know, CO2, is not the only greenhouse gas whose presence in the atmosphere is blamed on the pollution of our technology. The other is methane or CH4. And with the increasing amount of evidence that refutes carbon dioxide as a cause, the blame is eventually shifted onto methane.
These climate scammers now claim that methane is more dangerous and serious than carbon dioxide, and that methane levels are doubled, as we are told. We are also told that the source of this methane gas stems from agriculture, mostly from cattle herds, with the exclamation mark being on the word CATTLE. Vegetarian organizations quickly jumped on this bandwagon, condemning meat eaters as the sole cause of this problem, and claiming that the reduction of ruminant meat production would literally fix the problem. Their motive is clear as day, and I see right through their transparent vegetarian agenda.
According to a study from Switzerland, it is said that the observed increase in methane concentration is due to anthropogenic activities, predominantly agriculture and fossil fuel use. As you can see, they completely neglected the latter half of this, and blamed the entire problem on meat production alone, as if everybody becomes a vegan would magically eliminate global warming. Now, the actual question becomes, how much methane does commercial agriculture produce and how much damage does methane cause, if any, to the atmosphere?
For the first half of the question, it is estimated that meat production accounts for nearly a fifth of global greenhouse gas emissions. These, they said, are generated during the production of animal feeds; while ruminants, particularly cows, emit methane from both ends. Now before we move on to the latter half, it is necessary to ask one more question: Is methane strictly a product of cattle domestication? The answer is NO.
Thus, it would be completely absurd to even consider meat farming as a problem, when wild ruminants have existed for thousands, if not millions of years. It is said that prior to the introduction of cattle, the buffalo herds of America were so gigantic you could not see where the end of the herd is. So you are telling me that 50 years of commercial meat farming manages to destroy the atmosphere when millions and millions of years of wild herding couldn't? Wouldn't exterminating all ruminants in the world be a more effective solution? Hmm, I smell propaganda here.
For the latter half of the question, depending on where you get your information and who you talk to, the numbers range from 70 times more radiative forcing than carbon dioxide to 20 times, to less dangerous than CO2, you name it. There is no consistency among these claims nor is there any solid foundation behind any of them. None of them is correct I say. Simply put, methane isn't even an active greenhouse gas.
So keep eating your beef and lamb and think nothing of it.
And by the way, the world isn't ending anytime soon. Sorry to disappoint you sweetheart. |
